A flight of four sample coffees, plus retail bags for sale.

Come check out their coffees (hint: they are amazing)

Fundraiser for Atomic Coffee and Tomahawk Sports Bar Staff

We will be hosting a hand brewed coffee bar (for donations) Friday, Feb. 22nd from 8am-1pm at the What? Cafe (in the shopping center on the Northwest corner of Tharpe and MLK in Tallahassee). As a lot of you already know, Atomic Coffee and the Tomahawk Sports Bar both unexpectedly closed early this year. The staffs of both were left unexpectedly unemployed and without a few weeks back pay. Come out and get a coffee from some of your favorite Atomic Coffee alumni and make a donation to help out some local service workers and friends. Hope to see you there! Read More…

Guest Star Brew Bar (Round 2) at the What? Cafe: Feb 6th 8AM-11AM

We will be at it again at the What? Cafe (Near the corner of MLK and Tharpe in Tallahassee, FL).  We will be featuring coffees from 2 different amazing roasters:

Counter Culture Coffee (Durham, NC): Idido Sun-Dried (Yirgacheffe Ethiopia) and La Florida (Narino, Colombia)

Sweet Bloom Coffee (Lakewood, CO): Tana Toraja (Sulawesi)

Come check us out for a hand-brewed coffee in a laid-back atmosphere. If you’ve never been to the What? Cafe, it is a cool space right in Midtown, with a comfy feel and lots of great meetings and events.

Guest Star Brew Bar at What? Cafe – Friday, Jan, 23rd 8am-11am

This Friday, we will be hand brewing coffees inside the What? Cafe (1940 N. Monroe #76 – In the  shopping center near the corner of MLK and Tharpe.) 8am-11am. This is the first time we have done a “pop-up” cafe in a while. (A Pop-up is a temporary business or event which appears for a limited time in a unexpected location, often inside or just outside another business.) We are doing this for a few reasons.

First, we always want the chance to serve you some great coffee.

Second, we are hoping to bring a little attention to the What? Cafe. We love this space, and feel like more people should know about it. It’s a little hard to find, but actually convenient once you find it (and lots of parking). It’s got a cool, community vibe, and hosts varied social and educational events.

Hope to see you there!
