We have our roots as a mobile coffee provider.  For almost a year, we ran a coffee shop with a relaxing beautiful space and a great energy, sharing a space with the Miccosukee Root Cellar. That location closed in Sept., and we are anticipating our next permanent location, in January 2018.

We work with some of our favorite roasters from around the US who care about coffee farmers as well as quality. Journeyman Coffee also offers coffee catering, where we can bring to you a temporary coffee bar, serving any combination of our coffees and espresso drinks, customized to the feel of your event. Now, we are preparing our next shared-space location, and we look forward to serving you on a daily basis, starting January 2018.

Who We are

Journeyman Coffee has been engaged in coffee catering, coffee tastings and pop-up cafes since 2013. Our founder, Jason Card, has been involved in building the Tallahassee coffee community since he arrived in Tallahassee in 2011. Our next permanent location will be open January 2018

We are coffee focused. Perhaps the word is obsessed. We are passionate about sharing coffee with people. It tastes amazing and energizes, and it has been a fuel for debate, philosophy and revolution since ancient times. Coffee is so complex, there is always more to know: science, geography, history, efficiency, service. Coffee is an outlet for wonder, curiosity, compassion and hospitality. Coffee brings people together, locally and worldwide. It connects you to other people in your town, and people in distant parts of the world, never allowing you to get too provincial.

Our goal is to create the coffee experience we have always wanted to see in Tallahassee: relaxed, but vibrant, featuring the coffees we love to drink, with attention to small details. That and our stubborn independent streak is what sets us apart. We are driven to do our own thing in our own way, and we hope you like it.
